Insurance Market Solutions Group (IMSG) is a Managing General Agency that focuses on helping independent insurance agencies gain direct access to insurance markets. IMSG was formed in 2009 and has rapidly grown to represent a broad base of quality insurance carriers. We have appointed hundreds of agents in Texas with the right markets to grow their agencies.
Our business model is focused on serving entrepreneurial insurance agents that are either transitioning from the captive agency model or looking to grow their established agency. We take a very personalized approach with each agency to identify the markets that fit their needs.
We tailor our approach to the type of agency we are working with:
- Captive agents – IMSG specializes in helping agents ready to transition from being captive to independent. We provide markets and expertise to help make the transition as smooth and rapid as possible. We target “true entrepreneurs” that want to continue to own their own business and have total control of the outcome.
- Established independent agents - IMSG provides agents with personal lines markets to grow their existing independent agencies. We can fill product gaps for the multi-million dollar agency or small to mid-size agencies.
